Ball Belt Accumulation Conveyor

N.E. Engineering’s Ball Belt Accumulation Conveyors are designed for high-speed bundle handling applications where maintaining machine throughput is critical. The conveyor provides zero-gap accumulation, allowing bundles to be continuously accepted and accumulated when a downstream process begins to slow or back up.

By creating a controlled accumulation zone, the conveyor provides additional buffer capacity between the machine and downstream operations. This allows the upstream machine to continue producing even when the next process is temporarily unable to accept bundles. Without adequate accumulation, a downstream backup can quickly force the machine to slow down or stop, resulting in lost production and reduced overall efficiency.

The ball belt design provides controlled movement and accumulation of bundles while maintaining the speed and flexibility required for high-throughput applications. The system can be configured around bundle dimensions, weight, production rate, accumulation requirements, and available floor space.

NEE and TVC can engineer the accumulation conveyor as part of a complete bundle handling system, coordinating it with upstream machine discharge equipment, rotation and corner devices, downstream processing, and other material handling equipment. By providing the right amount of accumulation capacity, the system helps keep production moving even when downstream conditions change.

Whether you are dealing with short-term downstream interruptions or need additional buffer capacity to support a high-speed bundle line, NEE and TVC can develop an accumulation solution designed around your specific production requirements.
