N.E. Engineering’s Ball Belt Ejection Conveyors provide an automated method for removing bundles that have been identified for inspection from the primary production flow. The system works with the machine’s counter ejector to identify bundles with an eject flag and route them to a dedicated inspection area.
Once the flagged bundle reaches the appropriate position, the ball belt system redirects it from the primary conveyor path and transfers it to a gravity roller conveyor where operators can perform additional inspection or handling. This creates a controlled inspection process without requiring operators to manually remove bundles from the high-speed production line.
The ejection system helps maintain continuous production by separating flagged bundles from acceptable product while providing operators with easy access to material requiring additional attention. Once the inspection is complete, the product can be handled according to the facility’s established quality or rework process.
NEE and TVC can configure the ejection conveyor around the machine interface, bundle dimensions, conveyor speed, inspection requirements, and available floor space. The result is a flexible solution that integrates quality inspection directly into the automated bundle handling process.
