Transfer Car

N.E. Engineerings Transfer Cars provide the critical link between major areas of a corrugated material handling system. A single transfer car can be used to unload units from the corrugator conveyor and load them into WIP storage, retrieve units from WIP and deliver them to converting machine infeeds, or collect units from machine discharges and deliver them to the finished goods system.

Transfer cars are available with travel speeds of 60, 165, or 395 feet per minute, allowing the system to be matched to the required material flow and overall production speed. The appropriate speed and safety configuration can be selected based on the application, travel distance, traffic requirements, and installed safety devices.

When manual intervention is required, the transfer car includes a dedicated operator position designed to provide a controlled location for personnel interaction while maintaining the appropriate safety considerations.
