N.E. Engineering’s XY Conveyors provide an efficient way to transfer units 90° from the primary direction of travel, making them ideal for changing material flow between perpendicular conveyor lines. The system can be configured using either a roller and mesh belt combination or a mesh belt and mesh belt configuration, depending on the requirements of the application.
For mesh belt configurations, the spacing between the belt chains can be selected based on the weight and dimensions of the unit being transported, providing the appropriate level of support while maintaining reliable movement through the transfer.
NEE and TVC can engineer the XY conveyor around the unit characteristics, conveyor elevation, transfer distance, required speed, and available floor space. Whether the application requires a simple 90° transfer or is part of a larger automated material handling system, NEE and TVC can provide a configuration designed specifically for the process.
